Data Quality Information - - - - - - Go back to top

Attribute Accuracy  see lineage below
Logical Consistency
Completeness  see IR_photo_index.gif
Horizontal Positional Accuracy
Lineage  DNR 9" x 9" photos were scanned at 800 DPI on an Epson 1200s scanner.  Photos were then rectified using the Arcview script "Imagewarp".  Each photo was rectified after 20 to 40 points were found on both the scanned original photo and on the corresponding DOQ.  Usually, RMS errors of 1 to 4 meters were obtained for each image.  Those photos along the hillside usually had higher errors that those in flatter regions.  After the rectification process, each photo was cropped in Arcview to eliminate as much overlap as possible.  This resulted in much smaller file sizes and better accuracy since only the center 4 to 5 inches of photo is used.
Source Scale Denominator  15,840
